The I Am Woman Experience is coming to Beaumont and the Metropolis Theatre at the Julie Rogers Theatre. The annual event for women will return on Friday, 17th July 2026 for a 2-day convention titled: There is Oil After This. Three visionary and award-winning writers, Jamie Davis, Michelle Gilder and LaSan Gilder, are the conference founders and creative directors of this new venture, which invites women of all ages, 18 and up, to come together to celebrate the human spirit and to find safety in vulnerability. After attending the Evolve conference, these two ladies decided to bring the experience to Southeast Texas and held the program, titled "Carry It On Home" at the state of the art theater which seats over 1,700 and features intimate surround sound.
